ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2022 with regard to survey the petitioner's land and issue the patta to the petitioner's property situated at Madura Moorthiyur Village, Mandalavadi Post, Tirupathur Taluk & District comprised in S.No.37/1A, having an extent of 14 cents.

In order to survey the land of the petitioner situated at Madura Moorthiyur Village, Mandalavadi Post, Tirupathur Taluk & District comprised in S.No.37/1A, having an extent of 14 cents, the petitioner had given an application on 25.11.2022 to the third respondent Tahsildar and the petitioner also claim that she has paid the necessary fee to that effect. Therefore to consider the said application submitted by the petitioner and to do the needful for surveying the land of the petitioner, she has moved the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard Mr.R.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who having reiterated the aforesaid would seek indulgence of this Court.

Heard Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner dated 25.11.2022 along with a fee already been paid would be considered and the needful would be undertaken by the respondents within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein and having regard to the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the third respondent Tahsildar to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.11.2022 and do the needful, if the petitioner already paid the fee, otherwise after receipt of the fee, the needful would be undertaken by the third respondent within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/4
