This petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Crime No.198 of 2013 on the file of the Inspector of Police, CSCID Department, Vellore Unit, Vellore and quash the same insofar as the petitioner is concerned.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the respondent had already completed investigation and filed a final report in Crime No.198 of 2013, which was taken on file by the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Vellore in C.C.No.149 of 2017. He further submitted that in respect of the quash petition Crl.O.P.No.5083 of 2017 filed by the co-accused Mr.Manivel in the same Crime Number, was dismissed by this Court on 13.03.2017.

4. In view of the above fact, this quash petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
