Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to sanction the loan to the tune of Rs.5,00,000/- to the petitioner under the scheme of Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) for manufacturing country bricks.

ORDER

The petitioner is stated to be a physically disabled person entitled to the financial assistance granted by Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).

2.It is the case of the petitioner that her application for financial assistance was recommended by the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

However, follow up action was not taken by the first respondent. The petitioner is therefore before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the second respondent. None appears on behalf of the first respondent inspite of printing the name in the cause list. 4.The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner for financial assistance under the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) as referred to in the communication dated 25.06.2013. The application shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with the scheme as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
