J U D G M E N T

This Criminal Appeal is preferred against the judgment dated 31.12.2007 passed in C.A.No.462 of 2007 by the learned Additional District Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No.1, Coimbatore.

2.The Lower Appellate Court has acquitted the respondent/accused. On appeal, the respondent has come forward to settle the issue by making payment to the appellant. Accordingly, a demand draft bearing No.101851 dated 09.10.2018 for a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- drawn on City Union Bank Limited, Kovaipudur Branch, has been handed over to the appellant and the appellant as well as his counsel appeared before this Court and acknowledged receipt of the same. Learned counsel on either side have also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle. They have also no objection for the documents be returned to the respondent/accused. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Recording the endorsement made by the learned counsel on either side, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as infructuous.
