O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.20 of 2017 on the file of the respondent, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one Krishnamoorthy and Bhavani and the same was registered in Crime No.20 of 2017. Though the said complaint was registered as early as on 04.01.2017, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.20 of 2017 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
