Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner (14PG08300454) to the post of PG Assistant (History) based on merits in the selection conducted by the 1st respondent Teachers Recruitment Board as per Certificate Verification conducted on 10.04.2015 by considering the B.A (History) obtained by the petitioner as valid.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner in the post of PG Assistant.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Admittedly, the petitioner, without completing 12th Standard, had completed Under Graduation and Post Graduation through Distance Education. Thereafter, he completed the higher education. Therefore, he was not selected to the post of PG Assistant.

4. In view of the above, this Court finds no merits in this Writ petition and it is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
