CRIME NO.131/2021 For Petitioner : M/S.M.N.SUMATHY Advocate For Respondent : MR. A.GOKULAKRISHNAN, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 406, 420, 465, 468 and 34 of IPC in Crime No.131 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is a retired Government Employee who has cheated the defacto complainant after receiving an amount of Rs.5,50,000/- from him on the promise of getting Job in Indian Coast Guard. Further, It is said that a sum of Rs.5 crore has been received from more than 200 persons on the pretext of getting Government Job. Hence, this complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the investigation is pending in this case and hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and as it is said that a sum of Rs.5 crores has been received from more than 200 persons on the promise of getting Government Job and the investigation is under progress, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petition seeking anticipatory bail is dismissed.
