ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct an inquiry for grant of patta in respect of survey No.283/1B Veerakkal Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 15.11.2018 and grant patta to the petitioners.

Heard Mr.A.Sundaravadhanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 15.11.2018, after issuance of notice to the petitioners and counter parties if any and conduct an enquiry, after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
