O R D E R

The limited prayer in the Writ petition is for a Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent/Hindu Religious Endowment Department to consider the representation dated 18.01.2019, and thereafter direct the 3rd respondent to constitute a screening committee to issue No Objection Certificate to demolish and reconstruct the Thirovpathi Amman Temple, comprised in S.No.134, situated at Keezh Sirupakkam Village, Thandarampattu Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

2. Mr.M.Karthikeyan, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions states that proceedings are ongoing in respect of the request raised by the petitioner and necessary actions will be taken in due course.

3. In any event, the representation of the petitioner dated 18.01.2019, will be considered and orders be passed within a period of four (4) weeks from today.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed in the aforesaid terms. No costs.
