The appeal filed by the complainant aggrieved by the order of acquittal, was allowed by this Court on 07.09.2022 and the accused was summoned to answer the question about sentence. Accordingly, he appeared on 28.09.2022 and sought for leniency on imprisonment and submitted that he is ready to pay the cheque amount within a period of two weeks. Hence, the matter was adjourned. 2.

Today, when the matter is listed, accused is present before this Court and produced Demand Draft for Rs.48,898/- drawn in favour of M/s.Sree Gokulam Chits & Finance Company Private Limited / complainant. 3.

Learned counsel for the appellant / complainant is ready to compound the offence.
