[Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.] This petition is filed to implead the petitioner, who is the father of a victim of the incident, in which the son of the petitioner was also killed by Police firing.

2. Though the petitioner admitted in the affidavit that compensation to the tune of Rs.25 Lakhs was paid for the death of the victim, still family of the victim is unable to get justice for the deceased.

3. Therefore, considering the nature of the litigation, which is purely in public interest, this petition is ordered.

4. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title.
