Today, when the matter was taken-up, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant would submit that in the pending appeal, the appellant died on 09.10.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the death certificate to that effect.

2.In view of the submission and based on the copy of the death certificated produced before this court by the learned counsel for the appellant, this Criminal Appeal stands dismissed as abated.
