Mrs. Karthika Ashok, Learned Government Advocate takes notice for the Second Respondent.

2.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Second Respondent, on instructions, states that permission to put up any bunk shop in the public roads in Chennai City is governed by the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014, and there is nothing to show that the Petitioner has made any application to the concerned authority under that enactment so far. In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to the Petitioner to resort to that procedure and work out his remedies in that regard before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law, and he has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded.

3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
