category (General) and direct the respondents 1 to 3 to appoint the petitioner to the said post.

The Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned provisional selection list to the post of Assistant Published by the 2nd respondent dated 08.04.2015 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to include the petitioner's name in the selection list.

2. When this Writ Petition was taken up for hearing on 22.08.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the matter was ordered to be listed to-day ie on 11.09.2024 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today also, when the matter was called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. In the said circumstances, this Writ Petition is dismissed for 'non prosecution'. No costs.
