This petition has been filed seeking to call for the records and quash the proceedings in Cr.No.897/2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Namakkal Town Police Station, Namakkal, Namakkal District and quash the same .

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for State submitted that during the pendency of the petition, this case was referred as "mistake of fact"

and hence, the petition has become infructuous.
