Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to issue a direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to form a special investigating team headed by Thiru L.Balaji Saravanan, then DSP now ADSP and direct him to take the charge of investigation and other proceedings in the cases pertaining Crime No.102 of 2012 on the file of City Crime Branch, Coimbatore and the connected cases and complaints which is now about 15000 in number and still increasing and further direct the respondents to supervise the investigation and ensure speedy justice to the victims.

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to issue a direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to form a special investigating team headed by Thiru L.Balaji Saravanan, then DSP now ADSP and direct him to take the charge of investigation and other proceedings in the cases pertaining Crime No.102 of 2012 on the file of the City Crime Branch, Coimbatore and the connected cases and complaints which is now about 15000 in number and still increasing and to further direct the respondents to supervise the investigation and ensure speedy justice to the victims.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that during the pendancy of this petition, change of investigation was ordered and the case was transferred to the local Police of the Economic Offences Wing.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that during the pendancy of this petition, transfer of investigation was ordered and the case was transferred to the Police of the Economic Offences Wing and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

4.In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication. This criminal original petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition, if any, is closed.
