..Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 22.11.2023 and consequently direct the respondents to issue a non-traceable certificate in respect of Document No.1811/1967, 3294/2006 and 3320/2006 registered before SRO, Udumalpet on the basis on the petitioner's complaint dated 08.06.2023.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to issue a non traceable certificate in respect of Document No.1811/1967, 3294/2006 and 3320/2006 registered on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Udumalpet.

2. The petitioner has given a complaint before the third respondent on 08.06.2023 seeking for non-traceable certificate on the ground that the original documents were lost and hence, unless non-traceable certificate is obtained from the police, the petitioner will not be able to proceed further to deal with the property.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on-line complaint was given by the petitioner and thereafter, the petitioner is not cooperating for the enquiry and he is not submitting the necessary documents. In view of the same, the respondent police is not able to act upon the complaint

given by the petitioner.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to appear before the third respondent and to co-operate for the enquiry by submitting all the necessary documents. The third respondent shall conduct enquiry in line with the circular issued by the Director General of Police of Tamil Nadu dated 01.04.2022 and shall take a final decision within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
