The Petitioner/wife has filed this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous 1/4

Petition seeking to withdraw the H.M.O.P.No.5047 of 2024 pending on the file of the Family Court, Chennai and transfer the same to the file of the Family Court, Vellore.

2. The respondent-husband has filed H.M.O.P.No.5047 of 2024 on the file of the V Additional Family Court, Chennai for divorce. `

3. The petitioner-wife would submit that she is residing at her parents' house in Vellore along with her 12 month-old baby. It would be extremely difficult for her to travel along with her baby to attend each of the hearings at Family Court, Chennai. Since the Respondent-husband and his family members are the residents of Chennai, she is under threat when attending the Court proceedings at Chennai. Hence, she sought for transfer.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and looking into the grievances expressed by the petitioner, the Transfer 2/4

Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and H.M.O.P.No.5407 of 2024 pending on the file of the Family Court, Chennai shall stand withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Vellore. No costs. Consequently, connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed. 27.03.2025 srn To
