JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the court was made by Dr.VINEET KOTHARI, J.) In view of the subsequent development in the matter, the learned counsel for the appellant submits that the AppellantInstitution viz., Annai Velankanni College has once again moved an application claiming minority status for the Institution which was rejected by the competent authority, against which, a fresh writ petition in W.P.No.1068 of 2017 has been filed and the same is pending in this court.
2. Therefore, we are of the opinion that the present writ appeal against the order passed by the learned Single Judge in the first round of litigation on 17.4.2013 in W.P.No.13153 of 2004 has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Appeal is disposed of with a liberty to the Appellant to pursue its legal remedy in W.P.No.1068 of 2017, which is said to be pending before this court. No costs. The connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
