ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a Final Report with respect to the Crime No.94 of 2015 for the offence punishable under Section 406, 420 and 506(ii) of IPC on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.94 of 2015 on 09.03.2015, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.N.Muthuvel, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of one week.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
