ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 23.11.2021 for providing electricity service connection , water and basic amenities and physical division of the shop
measuring 110 sq.ft. in Shop No.1 situated at Sengadu Corporation Shopping Complex, Ward No.55, within the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation [North Zone] limits. 2.The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the shop was allotted in his favour and he has complied with the terms and conditions of the allotment. As per Clause 9 of the allotment conditions, the electricity service connection should be provided in the name of Coimbatore Corporation through the TANGEDCO.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the shop is to be demarcated in a clear manner enabling the petitioner to carry on his business activities. 4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents made a submission that the respondent Corporation has no objection in obtaining electricity service connection in the name of the Commissioner, Corporation, so also the water connection. Regarding the other grievances, the representation submitted by the petitioner is to be considered by following the procedures as contemplated under the provisions of the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act and Rules. 5.Thus, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 23.11.2021 and take all appropriate actions and pass orders and communicate the same to the writ petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
