Seeking a direction to the respondent to consider his application for issuance of Patta in Survey No.4123/1, Block No.89, Door No.53/16, V.K.Road, Mandaiveli, Chennai 600 028, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition. 2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner is in continuous possession and enjoyment of the property in S.No.4123/1 Door No.53/16, V.K.Road, Mandaiveli, Chennai 600 028 and he applied for patta through application dated 14.06.2016 and the same has not been considered by the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has come up with the present petition. 4.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application for issuance of patta on merits and in accordance with law, specifically after giving notice to the Slum Clearance Board and get report and then pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
