[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to grant ordinary leave for one month to the petitioner's husband, the detenu, Nagarajan s/o.Mariappan, aged about 56 years, Convict No.8161, who is detained at Central Prison, Salem.

2. When the matter came up for admission, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 24.12.2021 seeking ordinary leave for her husband, was considered by the Superintendent, Central Prison, Salem and by order dated 28.01.2022, the same was rejected. A copy of the rejection order has also been sent to the petitioner through post.

In view of the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order, if so advised. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor is directed to serve a copy of the rejection order dated 28.01.2022 on the learned counsel for the petitioner. No costs.
