ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to revive the petitioner society from the status of defunct society to function as an existing society in the register of the society with Regd.No.87/1956.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner society has been declared defunct for non submission of account and other formalities. Hence, they had filed an application seeking for restoration of the society on 07.01.2015, but so far no order has been passed . Hence, the present writ petition.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that even though the petitioner filed application seeking for revival of the society on 07.01.2015, but, they have not paid necessary fees for the same and hence, the application could not be considered by the Registrar.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready and willing to pay the amount and also filed a fresh application seeking for revival.
5. Considering those circumstances, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh application, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, along with necessary fees before the 2nd respondent. On receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
