ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents not to harass the petitioner based on the false complaint given by the Management of Muthayammal Engineering College Rasipuram.

2. This petition has come up today for admission. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and I have also perused the records carefully.

3. The complaint has been given by the Management of Muthayammal Engineering College Rasipuram and the petitioner has been called for enquriy. In my considered opinion, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner could be given. If the petitioner is wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, he can very well be summoned by the respondent police and while doing so, the petitioner shall not be harassed. petitioner should submit himself to the respondent for interrogation and enquiry. It is made clear that this order will not shield if the petitioner is involved in cognizable offence.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
