The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the first and third respondents to recall the declaration certificate issued to the fifth respondent, as elected candidate to the post of Member of Ward-21, Chengam Panchayat Union Council, Tiruvannamalai District within a reasonable time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Writ Petition itself has become infructuous and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the Court record.
