ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.2189 of 2014, on the file of the third respondent to any other agency.

2.Heard, Mr.A.Nirmal Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

3.It is seen that almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court does not want to interfere with the investigation at this stage. However, the third respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report if not filed already within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
