Petition praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the order passed by the 1st respondent in Letter No.2584/DI/2001-8, Higher Education Department dated 23.01.2004 and quash the same and direct the respondents to confer all the consequential benefits such as promotion to the post of Superintendent from the date on which the Petitioner's Junior came to be promoted as Superintendent i.e., 1.7.1992 and confer all the consequential benefits. JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.] This writ appeal is directed against the order dated 02.04.2012 made in W.P.No.2602 of 2004.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3.Inasmuch as the subsequent order has been passed, which has also been challenged by way of separate writ petition, this writ appeal is closed, giving liberty to the appellant to raise all the contentions in the pending writ petition.
