PRAYER: Criminal Revision Petition filed under Section 397 read with 401 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records of the order dated 07.03.2018 passed in Cr.No.112 of 2018 thereby cancelling the bail granted in Crl.M.P.No.1206 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Salem and set aside the order dated 07.03.2018.

Heard both sides and perused the records.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Salem has granted bail on 07.03.2018. However, he has not complied with Clause 6 of the order that he has to sign before the respondent police twice daily at 10.00a.m and 5.00 p.m until further orders. Subsequently, for non-compliance of the above said conditions, an application has been filed and the bail was cancelled by an order dated 7.3.2018 and hence, the revision.

3. According to the petitioner, he has not signed before the respondent police as required under Clause 6 of the bail order.

4. The respondent filed counter affidavit through the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the petitioner has been declared as "History Sheeted Rowdy" in H.S.No.202 of 2009. In the absence of any reasons to excuse for noncompliance of the order, the learned Magistrate has cancelled the bail.

5. Further, from the typed set of papers filed by the public prosecutor, it is seen that the petitioner is said to have involved in 19 cases, out of which, 7 cases are grave in nature.

6. Considering the entirety and nature of gravity of the offence, and in the absence of any plausible explanation, much less any explanations and along with the bad antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to entertain this petition.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed.
