ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the enquiry and to file a final report in Crime No.1074 of 2018 dated 15.02.2018 registered for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 of IPC r/w Section 4 of TNPWH Act dated 15.02.2018, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number, no final report is filed till date. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
