ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to issue the compassionate appointment to the petitioner for death of her father (V.Tulasimani) dated 06.05.2006.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner's father was working as P.G.Assistant in the 6th respondent School and died due to illness, on 06.05.2006. At the time of his demise, the petitioner had completed 10th standard. Immediately, her mother applied for appointment, on compassionate ground. Her mother was directed to furnish additional documents to consider her application seeking appointment on compassionate ground.

4. Further, by the communication dated 06.06.2008, the fifth respondent sought some additional documents from the 6th respondent. Therefore, the petitioner's mother submitted all the certificates. Thereafter, it was not considered and rejected. Once again, the petitioner submitted an application seeking compassionate appointment. It was rejected by an order dated 06.07.2016 by the second respondent. Consequent to that order, the 5th respondent passed an order, thereby rejected the request made by the petitioner. However, the petitioner did not challenge the same.

5. After a period of seven years, once again, the petitioner made another application seeking appointment on compassionate ground. Therefore, the relief sought for in this petition cannot be considered and this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
