10156/2018] [ii]suspend the sentence dated 07.06.2018 passed in Crl.Appeal No.159 of 2010 confirmed the order passed in C.C.No.291 of 2001 dated 12.10.2010 by the Judicial Magistrate No.4, Salem pending disposal of the above Criminal Revision No.898 of 2018.[CRL.MP.NO.10157/2018] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.Revision Case No.897 AND 898/2018 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.BALASUBRAMANIAN Advocate [IN ALL THE PETITIONS]for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- This petitioner was convicted by the trial Court for the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act 2012 and sentenced to undergo one year S.I and imposed with compensation of Rs.
5,000/-, in default in payment of fine sentenced the accused to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of two months to the respondent/complainant. Challenging the said conviction and sentence, pending revision, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

2. The sentence of the imprisonment imposed on the petitioner shall stand suspend on condition that the petitioner shall deposit for a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- awarded by the Court below as compensation within a period of eight weeks from today and on such deposit, the petitioner shall release on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the trial Court and on a further condition that the petitioner shall report before the trial Court on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m, pending disposal of the revision. -sd/- 02/08/2018 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
