O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent herein to give police protection while Laying boundary stones situated in Survey No.262/2013 of an extent of 1.86 acres and 262/4 of an extent of 1.21 acres, totalling in all 3.07 acres in Ponpadi Village, Tiruttani Taluk, Tiruvallur District, pursuant to the representation dated 11.03.2016 given to the respondents. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the fourth respondent has created obstructions for laying boundary stones in the subject property.
3.Though the petitioner sought for a direction to the third respondent to extend police protection for the purpose of laying boundary stones in the property situated in Survey No.262/13 in Ponpadi Village, Tiruttani Taluk, Tiruvallur District, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is given to the third respondent Police to consider his representation dated 11.03.2016, for police protection.
4.In the result, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the third respondent police seeking for necessary police protection for the purpose of laying boundary stones in the subject property by filing proper representation. On receipt of such representation, the third respondent shall consider the same on its own merits, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent herein and any other person who may be interested, in accordance with law. Such an exercise will be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
