The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.02.2018. 2.The case of the petitioner is that, his son Sri.K.Prasad was working as a Supervisor in the Chengalpet Toll Gate and had passed away on 25.12.2016 at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, Chennai. In the Death Certificate, the name of the deceased was mentioned as Prasanth instead of K.Prasad. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondents on 01.02.2018, to rectify the error and issue fresh Death Certificate. Since no orders have been passed, this writ petition has been filed. 3.Heard Mr.Madharkhan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.B.Anand, learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent.
4.The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the Deputy Commissioner has issued the Death Certificate based on the information given by the Medical Records Officer, Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, Chennai and after filing of the Writ Petition, the name of the deceased has been corrected as Prasad and the 4th respondent will communicate the same to the respondents 1 and 2 soon.
5.It is further submitted that after receiving such communication, the second respondent is ready to issue a fresh Death Certificate with the correct name.
6.Considering the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned standing counsel, this writ petition stands closed as no further adjudication is necessary. The respondents 1 to 4 are directed to complete the process within a period of six weeks. No costs.
