Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order of the detention passed by the 2nd respondent in No.C2/36367/2018 dated 20.12.2018 and set aside the same and consequently direct the respondents to the detenu Sathishkumar, Son of Balakrishnan, aged 32 years, petitioner's husband now confined at Central Prison, Cuddalore before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention dated 20.12.2018 in No.C2/36367/2018, detaining her husband as "Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.424 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 07.02.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
