Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the respondents 4 and 5 to pay the compensation to the petitioners 1 and 2, a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- with interest at rate of 7.5% from the date of death of the petitioners' mother, namely, V. Dhanalakshmi due to die in defective cylinder and valve provided by 1 to 3 respondents based on the petitioner representation dated 04.12.2020.

ORDER
The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the respondents 4 and 5 to pay the compensation to the petitioners 1 and 2, a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- with interest at rate of 7.5% from the date of death of the petitioners' mother, namely, V.Dhanalakshmi due to die in defective cylinder and valve provided by the respondents 1 to 3 based on the representation of the petitioners dated 04.12.2020.
2.With reference to the relief sought for in the Writ proceedings, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent/Oil Corporation has already sanctioned a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- towards compensation. Since the petitioner has not approached the 1st respondent, the respondents could not able to pay the compensation.
3.In view of the said submission, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the 1st respondent for the purpose of collecting the compensation amount already sanctioned in favour of the petitioner. 3/6
