However, liberty is granted to both the parties to file applications before the Arbitrator to be appointed by this Court under Section 17 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 to protect their respective interests.

2. Both the learned counsels have also made an endorsement in the Court bundle on instructions that the parties are agreeing for appointment of an Arbitrator by this Court.

3. In view of the endorsement made by both the learned counsels, agreeing for the appointment of an Arbitrator by this Court, the following directions are issued :- a) This Court appoints Ms. Anu Ganesan, the learned Central Government Standing Counsel, who is having office at New No.325, (Old No.158), Third Floor, Linghi Chetty Street, George Town, Chennai - 600 001, (Mobile No.9790255066) as the sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the dispute between the parties arising out of the Partnership Deed, which is the subject matter of the contract.

(b) The Arbitrator shall be paid her remuneration / fees 2/4

in accordance with the 4th schedule of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

(c) Both the parties shall equally share the arbitrator's fees.

(d) The Arbitrator shall conduct the arbitration in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and shall complete the arbitration within the specified time as prescribed under the Act. 27.03.2025 vsi2 3/4
