Respondents / Respondents Prayer: Writ Appeal preferred under Clause XV of Letters Patent against the order dated 18.10.2012 made in W.P.No.6681 of 2012. Prayer in W.P.No.6681 of 2012: Writ Petition filed under article 226 of the constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus, to call for the records connected with the proceedings issued in Na.Ka.No.48823/2012/J3-7 dated 10.02.2012 passed by the 2nd Respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue in the Chennai Corporation itself.

JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that change of vakalat has been given long time back and intimation has also been sent to the appellant.

2.The mater is pending for more than five years. It is not as if the matter is posted for the first time before this Court. Thus, we are not inclined to give any more time. 3.In such view of the matter, the writ appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution. However, liberty is given to the appellant to file an appropriate petition for restoration, if so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
