PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 1st respondent herein to transfer the investigation in Crime No.119 of 2015 from the file of 2nd respondent to some other competent police for proper investigation of the case.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent herein to transfer the investigation in Crime No.119 of 2015 from the file of 2nd respondent to some other competent police for proper investigation of the case.

2. It is seen that the investigation in Crime No.119 of 2015 is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3. However, considering that the crime is of the year 2015, the 2nd respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.119 of 2015 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
