ORDER
On a request made by the petitioner that the assessment has been made wrongly with respect to the name, the second respondent initiated enquiry, as seen from the letter dated 26.02.2009. Though more than eight years have elapsed, no final order has been passed . Hence the present writ petition has been filed.
2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation on 12.09.2016 pursuant to the notice of the second respondent to pass appropriate orders. It is further submitted that on the earlier enquiry notice, to the knowledge of the petitioner, no order has been passed.
3.Considering the above, a direction is issued to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation dated 12.09.2016 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While disposing of the same ,it is open to the second respondent to hear respondents 3 and 4, if so required. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
