ORDER
(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH,ACJ.) Heard the petitioner in person, Mr.E.Manohar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent and Ms.Rajani Ramadoss, learned counsel, who takes notice for respondents 2 to 4.
2. The petitioner seeks issuance of a mandamus to the authorities concerned to consider his claim of re-introduction of one day travel ticket/pass on the basis of his representations dated 1.5.2018 and 25.6.2018.
3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, we are of the view that the issue raised by the petitioner is re-introduction of one day travel ticket. Any such arrangement to be made by the Transport Corporation/the authority concerned which has got an issue of management of revenue, is a policy decision and therefore, the petitioner cannot insist the same under the guise of public interest. In that view of the matter, if the petitioner has got any grievance, it is for him to approach only the authority concerned and in such event, it is only for the authority concerned to consider the same and the claim of the petitioner cannot be treated as a matter of public interest.
