Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to appear for the second year MBBS examination and to publish the results thereafter pursuant to the direction of this Court in W.P.No.24996 of 2016 dated 20.07.2016.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to permit the petitioner to appear for the third year MBBS examination and to publish the results. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was permitted to write the examination subject to the result of the Writ Petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has furnished the proceedings of the State Level Scrutiny Committee dated 20.12.2019, wherein, the Committee has confirmed that the petitioner belongs to Scheduled Tribe Community and the community certificate issued to her by the Revenue Divisional Officer was confirmed.

4. In view of the above development, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw this Writ Petition.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
