O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 2nd respondent to provide electricity service connection to petitioner's premises in Survey No.132/5A with an extent of 3347 Sq.feet vide Plot No.HIG-15 in Narasingapuram Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District by considering his online application dated 29.11.2024.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the above mentioned premises and filed an online application seeking domestic electricity service connection. Though the online application was submitted as early as 29.11.2024, till date the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3,Mr.I.Syed Sibquthullaa, learned Standing Counsel (TANGEDCO), who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the online application of the petitioner will be considered on its' own merits on payment 2/5

of necessary charges.

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Standing Counsel (TANGEDCO) for the respondents 1 and 2, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 29.11.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. It is made clear that petitioner shall pay the necessary charges as per the applicable rules.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
