ORDER
The writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 08.03.2017 passed by the respondent and consequently direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to hold a public meeting on 16.03.2017 between 05.30pm to 10.00pm near Ambedkar Bridge, P.V.Koil Street, Myalpore, Chennai-4 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2017.

However, today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner made another representation dated 14.03.2017 to the respondent, seeking permission to conduct a public meeting on 16.03.2017 in an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
alternative place and the same may be directed to be considered by the respondent.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the respondent is inclined to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct a meeting on 16.03.2017 in a place mentioned in the subsequent representation dated 14.03.2017.
4. The said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 14.03.2017, forthwith. No costs.
