O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to transfer the investigation relating to Crime No.122 of 2015 to the file of CBCID or any other agency and to conduct free and fair investigation and to file final report.

2. It is seen that the investigation in Crime No.122 of 2015 is pending on the file of the 3rd respondent police. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3. However, considering that the crime is of the year 2015, the 3rd respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.122 of 2015 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
