ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.11.2024, seeking bail in Crime No. 304/2024 registered for the offences under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii), 25 and 29(i) of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substance Act,1985.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with the other accused were in possession of 40 kgs of ganja. Hence, the complainant. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent; that she has been falsely implicated in this case; that she is a lady and hence, prayed for grant of bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the contraband seized is of commercial quantity and hence, opposed for grant of bail. 5.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the submissions made by both sides, it is clear that the petitioner/A6 was implicated based on the confession statement of the coaccused; that she already has similar previous case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
