Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioner on 11.12.2024 with respect to the unauthorized erection of Solar Power Light Pole in the private patta land of the petitioners and to pass necessary further order of orders which this Hon'ble Court may think fit to this circumstance of the case and thus render Justice.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "directing the respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioner on 11.12.2024 with respect to the unauthorized erection of Solar Power Light Pole in the private patta land of the petitioners." 2/5

2. The main grievance of the petitioners is that, without any notice or intimation, a public solar light pole has been unauthorisedly erected on their patta land. In order to remove the unauthorisedly erected pole, the petitioners submitted a representation to the respondents on 11.12.2024. However, to date, no action has been taken by the respondents.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.

4. It is informed that the appropriate authority to consider the representation of the petitioners is the Commissioner, Tambaram City Municipal Corporation. Therefore, the Commissioner, Tambaram City Municipal Corporation is suo motu impleaded as the 5th respondent in this writ petition.

5. Considering the limited request of the petitioners and also taking note of the fact that the petitioners' representation dated 11.12.2024 has not been considered to date, the suo motu impleaded 5th respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 11.12.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
