Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to rectify the mistake made in Patta No.782 in Survey No.64/2 in respect of the property situate at Samanappalli Village, Soolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District to an extent of 1.14 acres as per the sale deed dated 09.08.1967 vide Document No.695 of 1967 on the file of Sub Registrar Office, Royakkottai based on the representation dated 06.12.2021.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to rectify the mistake made in Patta No.782 in Survey No.64/2 in respect of the property situate at Samanappalli Village, Soolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District to an extent of 1.14 acres as per the sale deed dated 09.08.1967 vide Document No.695 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
1967 on the file of Sub Registrar Office, Royakkottai based on the representation dated 06.12.2021.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the subject property and he obtained Patta No.782 for the same. Thereafter he came to know that there is a mistake in the said patta and he made representation dated 06.12.2021 to the respondents seeking rectification of the mistake and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2021 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.
4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2021, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
