ORDER
This Court, by order dated 21.12.2016, in Crl.OP.No.29615 of 2016, directed the respondent herein to investigate the case in Crime No.361 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a
copy of the order. Since the said order has not been complied with by the respondent herein, the petitioner has filed the present Contempt Petition before this Court.
2. Today, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the person, against whom, the FIR was registered and the final report is sought to be filed, viz., Rajeshkumar, had died on 15.10.2016. Learned Public Prosecutor further submitted that in the event of the petitioner being lodged a fresh complaint to the respondent police, with details regarding with whom, the vehicle belonging to the petitioner, is available, necessary action will be taken by the respondent police.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Public Prosecutor, the contempt petition is closed, giving liberty to the petitioner to file a complaint before the respondent police, pointing out the details about with whom the vehicle is available. On filing of such complaint, the respondent police shall take appropriate action. 01.09.2017 rk
