Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to modify the condition imposed by the Principal Sessions Judge at Salem on 26.04.2016 in C.M.P.No.1664 of 2016 that the petitioners should stay at Namakkal and report and sign before the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Namakkal daily twice at 10.a.m. and 5 p.m. until further orders to an extend that the petitioners should stay at Attur and report and sign before the Judicial Magistrate No.2 at Attur.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking to modify the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge at Salem in C.M.P.No.1664 of 2016 in Cr.No.74 of 2016 dated 26.04.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court feels that it is a fit case to modify the condition and accordingly, the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge at Salem in the order made in C.M.P.No.1664 of 2016 in Cr.No.74 of 2016 dated 26.04.2016 is modified to the effect that "the petitioners shall appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Attur on every Monday at 10.00 a.m. for a period of two months"

instead of "the petitioners shall stay at Namakkal and report and sign

before the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Namakkal daily twice at 10.00a.m. and 5.00 p.m., until further orders".
